How ferries work in Croatia
The same island is often served by both a car ferry and a catamaran, but they are two different lines, with different timetables, different fares and sometimes a different quay.
Many state-subsidised routes are run by Jadrolinija, and others by operators such as TP Line, G&V Line and Krilo. Each operator publishes its own timetable and fares, and summer and winter timetables differ in the number of sailings. This site brings the timetable, fares and ports of each route into one place, with a link to the source.
On car ferries the passenger and the vehicle are priced separately, and island residents have their own conditions. Each page lists the fares as the operator publishes them, with the date they apply from.
Timetables change with the season. Where the next timetable is already published, the page switches to it on its first day; where it is not, the page says so. All times are shown in 24-hour format and local time.
Bora and jugo winds and breakdowns can change or cancel sailings. The operator publishes those notices, and they appear here as a dated note when they were known at the time of checking.
