Low-season prices for 2026 cover 1 Jan-28 May and 28 Sep-31 Dec; in the summer band (29 May-27 Sep) an adult paid 6.70 EUR and a car up to 5 m 25.20 EUR. Child (3-12) and island prices do not change with the season. Fares are identical in both directions, including port charges and VAT. Vehicles and people are ticketed separately; under-3s and pets go free, as does hand luggage up to 20 kg. All fares in euros (EUR).
Line 633 is Jadrolinija's car ferry from the ferry port of Ploče to Trpanj on the Pelješac peninsula. The crossing takes one hour. Jadrolinija's own route description points out that from Pelješac you can carry on towards Dubrovnik, Mljet or Korčula.
This is a low-frequency route, and the timetable is the same on every day of the week. In the 2026 low and off season (1 January to 2 July and 31 August to 31 December) there are three sailings each way: the day opens with a 06:45 departure from Trpanj and closes with the 19:30 from Ploče. During the high season, 3 July to 30 August, there were four each way. Missing a boat here can mean a wait of several hours, so plan the drive to the port around the departure times rather than the other way round.
The only holiday change for the rest of 2026 is on 25 and 26 December, when the early boat from Trpanj leaves at 09:20. On 1 and 18 November the normal times apply, which Jadrolinija's date search confirms. Jadrolinija had not published a 2027 timetable by 29 September 2026.
There are no reservations on this line. A ticket is dated but not timed, can be used on any sailing that day, and vehicles board in order of arrival; Jadrolinija recommends turning up one to two hours ahead on routes like this. Low-season fares, valid from 28 September to 31 December, are 4.50 EUR per adult and 18.00 EUR for a car up to 5 m long and/or 2 m high, with the driver and each passenger paying separately. A longer or taller car is 28.60 EUR and a motorbike 6.90 EUR. Cyclists should note that a bicycle costs the same as an adult ticket, 4.50 EUR. Children aged 3 to 12 pay 2.30 EUR all year and under-3s travel free. In summer (29 May to 27 September) the adult fare was 6.70 EUR and a car 25.20 EUR.
- Get to the port in good time: on car ferries vehicle boarding closes before departure, and queues build in summer.
- Check the operator's notices on the day — bora and jugo winds and breakdowns change or cancel sailings.
- Buy your ticket in advance where the operator allows it; vehicle space is limited on some routes.
