Fares are from Jadrolinija's line 631 price list, valid 1 January to 31 December 2026. There is no seasonal surcharge on this line: the same price applies all year and in both directions, port dues and VAT included. A vehicle ticket does not cover the people inside; everyone in the vehicle pays a passenger fare, apart from the exemptions listed in the price list (bus drivers and passengers, for example). Children under 3 travel free (aged 1 to 3 they are issued a free ticket). Hand luggage up to 20 kg is free. The island fare is only for holders of a valid Croatian island card. All fares in euros (EUR).
Line 631 is Jadrolinija's year-round car ferry from Split to Supetar on the island of Brač. Jadrolinija puts the crossing at 50 minutes. In Split the boat leaves from the city's ferry port, where Jadrolinija's ticket office stands on Gat Sv. Duje; for local lines it opens at 04:30 Monday to Saturday and 05:30 on Sundays and holidays. On Brač you land in Supetar, the town Jadrolinija calls the largest on the island.
A ticket on this line is not tied to a sailing. You buy it for a date and it is good for any departure of the line that day. Vehicles board in the order they reach the port, so buying online does not hold you a place on a particular boat. For lines without reservations Jadrolinija advises arriving one to two hours before the sailing you want, and earlier on some lines at the height of the tourist season. If you are collecting a rental car and do not know the number plate yet, the online shop lets you mark the vehicle as a rental. The ticket can be shown on a phone screen; buying on board is only allowed if the port office is closed.
The season changes how often the boat runs, not what it costs. From 1 June to 30 September there are 14 sailings each way; from 1 October there are 12. The 05:00 departures from both ports stop on Sundays in October, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in November and December. The late pair (23:59 from Split, 22:45 from Supetar) is dropped on 24, 25 and 31 December. The 2026 fares hold all year and in both directions: EUR 6.50 per adult, EUR 3.20 for a child aged 3 to 12, EUR 26.10 for a car up to 5 m, EUR 12.90 for a motorbike and EUR 6.20 for a bicycle. The car fare covers the vehicle only, so everyone inside pays a passenger fare too.
The cheaper island fare needs a Croatian island card, which visitors do not qualify for. If Bol on the south coast of Brač is where you are staying, Jadrolinija's passenger catamarans from Split (lines 9603 and 659) go there without calling at Supetar and without taking cars. They are a separate service and are not on this board.
- Get to the port in good time: on car ferries vehicle boarding closes before departure, and queues build in summer.
- Check the operator's notices on the day — bora and jugo winds and breakdowns change or cancel sailings.
- Buy your ticket in advance where the operator allows it; vehicle space is limited on some routes.
