Route 9141 fares for 2026: off-season prices apply 1 January–28 May and 28 September–31 December 2026, summer prices 29 May–27 September 2026. Prices are the same in both directions and include port charges and VAT. Under-1s travel free without a ticket and 1- to 3-year-olds free with a ticket. Children aged 3 to 12 and island ID card holders pay a reduced fare. A pet in a box costs 50% of the passenger fare; bicycles pay an extra fee that is not shown in the published fare list. Route 9141 is a state-subsidised passenger line between Pula in Istria and Zadar in Dalmatia, and it is not a quick hop: the catamaran calls at Unije, Susak, Mali Lošinj, Ilovik and Silba on the way, and the full trip takes 4 hours 45 minutes. Kapetan Luka runs it under the Krilo brand, and Krilo's schedule names the vessel as Krilo Lux. Only foot passengers are carried, so a rental car has to go round by road.
Visitors planning an autumn trip should check the day of the week first. Between 28 September and 31 December 2026 the off-season timetable has sailings on Fridays and Sundays only, a morning departure from Pula and an afternoon return from Zadar. The extra Wednesday sailing stopped after 27 September, and the five-days-a-week summer pattern ran from 26 June to 30 August. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays there is no boat until the end of the year. The published timetable adds that a trip cancelled because of the weather is run on the first following day when conditions allow.
A Pula to Zadar ticket costs EUR 21.24 on the off-season fare list; the summer fare, charged from 29 May to 27 September, was EUR 26.54. Children aged 3 to 12 pay EUR 13.27 and under-3s go free. The price is the same in either direction and includes port charges and VAT. Shorter legs cost less, for example EUR 10.62 from Pula to Mali Lošinj.
Krilo allows each passenger up to 23 kg of luggage. Bicycles travel for an extra fee in limited space, and small pets are carried in a box, charged at half the passenger fare. Krilo recommends being at the boarding point 15 minutes before departure. Seats are not assigned, and there is a snack bar on board but no Wi-Fi. Ticket agents listed by Krilo are Inel Tours (Narodni trg 9) and Simmor Marine (Riva, Riječki gat) in Pula, and Mia Tours and G&V Line Iadera in Zadar's old town; e-tickets can be shown on a phone.
- Get to the port in good time: on car ferries vehicle boarding closes before departure, and queues build in summer.
- Check the operator's notices on the day — bora and jugo winds and breakdowns change or cancel sailings.
- Buy your ticket in advance where the operator allows it; vehicle space is limited on some routes.
